If you’ve no personal experience with an inground pool builder, you’ll have to rely on the experiences of others you trust. Ask neighbors, friends and family members to recommend a builder that they have used and would use again. Once you’ve identified a few potential builders, narrow the search by examining their rankings with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), consumer review websites, and by requesting references from past clients.

At All Star Pools, our reputation is our primary source of business! We have a long list of satisfied clients who happily refer us to their family and friends. We’ve made many of their testimonial letters available for you to read here , and encourage you to contact past and current clients to interview them on our attentiveness, communication, and quality. We’ve maintained a flawless record with the BBB, and have been awarded their highest ranking of A+!

Experience comes in many shapes and sizes. Many inground pool builders advertise a “combined experience” or “industry experience” without giving specifics. Ask about a builder’s precise experience. How long has the company been operating, and how long have they been building pools in the Houston area? Be sure to ask if the company has ever gone by a different name or operated in another state. If so, perform due diligence to ensure they aren’t hiding from a bad reputation or law suit!

At All Star Pools, we happily make our company and team profiles available for you to view so that you can get to know us before we even get started.  In addition to our pool building and design history, our team offers a range of diverse experience that spans the construction, maintenance and concrete industries. All of these unique skillsets combine to offer our clients a higher level of craftsmanship and quality.

Enquire into a pool builder’s education. How did he/she learn the trade? Do they receive ongoing education?

Each member of the All Star Pools Team was introduced into pool construction through a related industry, and while we’ve all mastered the process, we’ve never stop learning. We participate in ongoing education through The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) as well as industry conventions and trade shows to stay on top of the latest methods, design trends and cutting edge equipment.

Ask about ongoing services. Pool builders that see the construction phase as simply the beginning of a long-term relationship may be more committed to a quality experience than a builder you’ll never see again.

At All Star Pools, our relationship doesn’t end with the construction of your pool. We personally train you on the maintenance and care of your new pool, and will teach you how to keep your equipment running efficiently and your pool looking its best for years to come. We also offer a variety of other services to make your new inground pool environment even more beautiful. Whether through outdoor renovations or your next pool construction, we look forward to serving you for years to come!

Is the pool builder easy to contact? How communicative is the staff? Does he/she listen when you talk?

At All Star Pools, we believe that open and clear communication is absolutely imperative to the pool design and construction experience. We understand the fears all consumers have when making large purchases, and aim to ease these worries through regular communication. Our owner, Eddie Bajalieh, makes client interaction and communication a top priority. He’ll listen to your ideas and design feedback to capture your unique vision, and will personally keep you up to date throughout each phase of the pool construction process. Every member of our extended team shares this commitment to client communication. It is our aim to make you feel heard, understood, informed and fully confident during the entire building process.

A pool builder’s commitment to safety tells a lot about the quality he will offer. Does the builder adhere to local building codes alone, or does he hold himself to a higher standard? Some companies will build to national codes to offer an additional layer of protection to the consumer. Ask him/her about safety features included in the pool. Is he/she comfortable explaining pool safety? Is he/she knowledgeable of pool safety hazards and remediation?

As part of the post-construction pool education, All Star Pools inform homeowners of common pool hazards and entrapment risks. We explain the steps we’ve taken to make their pool safer, including the use of quality Jandy equipment and newly improved drain covers. We direct homeowners to helpful consumer awareness sites, such as, for more information on pool and water safety. For clients with small children, we take particular care to recommend aftermarket safety features like alarms, fences, and pool safety covers. The safety of your little swimmers is our priority!

A business’s affiliations can tell a lot about how he/she see’s their business. Strong community ties and affiliations indicate that a pool builder see’s his/her business as more than a financial venture. Trade associations can show a commitment to the industry as a whole while support of area non-profits communicates a desire to contribute to the overall success and quality of the community. Professional affiliations will also carry certain requirements concerning business practices and standards.

All Star Pools is a proud member of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) and the National Spa and Pool Institute. We also take pleasure in being active members of our community, and support local causes and teams such as the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Children’s Miracle Network, and the Kingwood High School Project Graduation.
