Real, active server admins
Private servers that don’t just disappear one day.
Most private servers die quietly when the owner stops paying. Not here. PixelMonsters servers are run by active admins — some we host for free, and the rest run on community support with an honest meter showing exactly what each one costs and what’s covered. If you love a server, you can make sure it stays up.

Server rules — read before you build
**PixelMonsters · US Mid · 6 slots · Public · PVP always on · We don't wipe** **209.126.11.33:29000** — no password, just join. ## The short version Teams of two. Everyone else is a target. Your base stays where you built it. This is a small server that runs on people being straight with each other. Read "How this actually works" at the bottom before you decide it's for you. ## The rules ### 1. Two players per team You play solo or with one partner. The game has no group system, so nothing stops a third player tagging along — which is exactly why this is a duo ruleset, admin-enforced, rather than a setting. If you want three-player squads, this isn't the server. ### 2. One account per person No alts, no second accounts, no sharing your login. On six slots this matters more than anywhere else: two people running four accounts would lock out an entire third duo. If you want to play a different character, delete your old one. ### 3. Don't team up outside your duo The test is simple: are you making someone else's game easier? If yes, and they're not your partner, don't. That covers the obvious things — fighting alongside a third player, sharing a base or storage, standing down by mutual agreement. It also covers the less obvious ones: dropping a kit somewhere for another duo to collect, leaving a chest unlocked for them, or dying to them on purpose with good gear on. Routing gear through the floor instead of your hands is still a handoff. Two duos independently attacking the same target isn't teaming. Arranging it is. ### 4. Solo is fine You don't need a partner to play here. Team up later if you want — see rule 5. ### 5. Changing partners Say so in Discord when it happens. That's the whole process. The one restriction: if you walk out on a duo during or straight after a fight, sit out 48 hours before joining another. It stops people bailing to whoever just beat them. It doesn't apply if your partner left, quit, or got removed — you're free immediately, and you shouldn't be punished for someone else's decision. Admins don't adjudicate breakups. Whatever you built together, sort it out between you — and be aware that the moment you're not partners, you're enemies, and normal raiding rules apply to everything you built together. ### 6. Raiding is the point. Griefing isn't. Fine: raiding, killing on sight, stealing, ambushing, holding a contested area, breaking whatever's in your way to get to the loot. Not fine: - Killing the same player more than twice in a row at their respawn point. Take the kills, take the loot, then let them move. - Sealing someone out of their own base rather than taking what's in it. - Flattening a starter camp that has nothing in it worth taking. These are written as thresholds rather than intentions on purpose. Admins can't read your mind and won't try to. ### 7. Don't cheat No exploits, no duping, no tools that change how the game behaves. Mods that alter the player cap count here too. If you find a bug, tell us and you're clear — including if you already triggered it by accident. That amnesty is real and it's how we find out about this stuff. What gets you removed is knowingly using one after you know it's there. Duping is the one we care about most, because on a server that never wipes, a broken economy is permanent. ### 8. Don't be vile Slurs, harassment, and threats get you removed. Trash talk during a raid doesn't — there's a difference between "get wrecked" and going after who someone is. ## What happens when someone breaks the rules Admins go on what they can actually check: server logs, and screenshots or clips you send us. Bring evidence if you're reporting someone. | What happened | What we do | | --- | --- | | Teaming, first time | Warning, and any gear that changed hands gets removed | | Teaming again | Removed from the server | | Griefing | Warning, or removal if it's deliberate and repeated | | Cheating or duping | Removed | | Harassment | Removed immediately | We won't roll the world back to undo player damage. Backups here are whole-world — restoring your griefed base would erase every other player's progress since the last save, which breaks the one promise this server is built on. Rollbacks are for genuine server faults only (corruption, a catastrophic bug), and we'd announce one before doing it. So: griefing is punished, not reversed. Build accordingly, and don't put everything in one chest. ## How this actually works Some honesty, because you'll work it out anyway and we'd rather say it upfront. **Bans are soft.** The server is public with no password, so anyone we remove could make a new account and come back. We keep removing them. What actually keeps this server pleasant is that it's six people who mostly know each other — not enforcement. If that sounds fragile, it is, and it's the trade we've made for being open. **Six slots is a hard cap.** Jagex sets it in the server itself; it went from 4 to 6 in March 2026 and stays there. We can't raise it and neither can our host. **Slots are first-come, every session.** Nothing is reserved. Three duos online is a full server, and at peak time you may not get in. We'd rather run one honest server than pretend there's room we don't have. **Nobody's base is protected by absence.** If you stop playing, your base stays — we don't wipe. But if you've been gone 60 days and someone needs the space, admins may clear it. Say something in Discord if you're going away and want it kept. **Established players have a head start.** No wipes means someone who joined in month one has a base you won't match quickly. That's the deal with persistent servers. If you want a level start, wait for a fresh one. ## Housekeeping - Server restarts daily at 05:00 America/Chicago, back within a minute. - Backups run nightly, with monthly copies kept off-platform. - PVP is always on. There are no safe zones and no PVE hours. Questions go in [#dragonwilds on the PixelMonsters Discord](https://discord.gg/waAmZ2X6By).

Dragonwilds Duo PVP — No Wipe
Eye on Ashenfall | Our 1.0 Release is live!
Today marks the start of our next journey. Thank you to the millions (yes, millions!) of you who joined us during Early Access. We're now live on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, XBOX Series X | S and PC on Epic Games Store, Jagex Launcher and Steam. Our Early Access JourneyIn April 2025 we launched into Early Access with the first Dragon General, Velgar, and the first two regions: Brynmoor and Ghornfell. We launched with 9 unique skills to level up, unlocking powerful, transformative Skill Spells to make the mundanity of survival a little more magical – no more grinding through countless trees, chopping until the sun comes up. 12 Unique armour sets, across 3 combat styles, supported by a range of weapons up to Iron tier.In June 2025 we expanded our Magic Skill Tree, added additional building pieces including the Palisade Walls for protecting against Base Raids (which we’ve rebalanced and tuned down based on player feedback). In September we added Ranged skill tree abilities including Hunter Sense, Spectral Arrow and and Snare Skill Spells. We also added poison, barbed and flaming arrows to deal poison, bleed and fire damage, as well as enchanted bolts for Crossbows (including the iconic Blurite Crossbow). We also added the Custom and Creative world options with over 50 custom world setting variables for you to make your world, your way, and tens of thousands of creative and custom worlds have been made since then! In December, our first Major Update “Fellhollow” arrived with the Farming skill, a new building kit, two new NPCs and a shop for trading Soul Fragments with Death himself. Material upgrades brought you the Castle kit to make a spooky stronghold. You can also earn and equip Steel tier gear, complete with its iconic plumed Full Helm, and then made RuneScape history by adding Mounts! Ride a terrorbird and traverse the treacherous terrain in style! The second Dragon boss, Imaru the Revenant Dragon has tested, and will continue to test, the strength of your soul and offers unique rewards for those who grant her finality and peace. We added more to Fellhollow with our minor updates, monthly content drops adding quests, rewards and new decorations – new repeatable content in the form of Spectral Platforming, Buried Treasures and Letters for the Dead, and quests in the form of “Things That Go Boom In The Night”, “Doric’s Quest”, “Letters for the Dead”, “What Remains is Written” and “Mirror, Mirror”.In March, we launched our next Major Update, with 4 more quests for players to take on, a new boss to overcome in the legendary Black Knight Titan, and a new region – Dowdun Reach. We launched support for Dedicated Servers, improved controller support, and a ton of bug fixes, before the arrival of Fishing. We added three new quests: “Cook’s Assistant”, “Animal Magnetism” and “A Room with a Garou” alongside the Fishing skill which let you catch pristine fish to make new wall-mounted decorative trophies of your finest catches, providing the best healing-per-stack of any food item. We added Auto-run, auto-magnetising nearby items in the world to reduce inputs picking up items around you, the option to hide your helmet to show off your beautiful face and stopped Chickens, Cows and Kebbits from automatically attacking the player unprovoked so you can enjoy your cozy abode or a chill walk around in peace. We reworked health and healing to let you tick-eat food like the other RuneScape games for optimal survivability in combat. We removed Wardstone to make your health bar more clearly representing your survivability, but also adding Sanguine Urns around the world to increase your Max HP by 10, permanently, for each unique one you find and use.Our latest and largest Major Update, Umbral Sands, introduced a new form of Mount – the flying carpet – and introduced you to a region inspired by the Kharidian Deserts of RuneScape. Within this region, we introduced the Kalphite Queen and her brood, Fuzan the Fire Dragon and the Kot’Haar, sentient golems of Obsidian, given life by an Elder Artefact. We also added the Nightmare Crucible, allowing you to earn upgrade materials to power up your favourite weapons from lower Power Levels to be max level to face Kuldra with the release of Scorned Wilderness. The region allows users to craft Adamant Armour, Red Dragonhide and Infinity Robes as well as additional vestiges including Obsidian Armour, the Obsidian shield and the Fire Cape. We expanded the Skill Trees for Mining and Woodcutting, giving you new Skill Spells and passive rewards, and added more NPC traders for users to trade with. Added Enfeeble - Weakens the Attacks of the targeted opponent. 20x Astral + 20x Water Runes. (75s Cooldown)Added Vengeance - Is being vindictive a virtue? I think so! WoodcuttingIn case you missed this in our previous update, we added the Lumber Storage - Unlocks the Lumber Storage, a high capacity storage for logs and planks. Bet you couldn't figure that one out.Wood Weight Reduction has been moved to Level 88 - reduces the weight of wood by 50%.Added the Axtral Projection Upgrade - now it conjures THREE spectral axes, carving through even more trees along their path in a cone in front of you. ConstructionAdded the Eye of Oculus Upgrade - When destroying pieces using Eye of Oculus, the eye now magnetises the recycled material into the players inventory. Added New building pieces: Pets - starting with Perches for Birds.ArtisanAdded the Storage Ledger - interact with this, and any items in your inventory that have an existing stack in any linked chest will auto-sort and be filed away correctly. Previously after a expedition you have to run around your entire base or storeroom interacting/filling stacks on every chest to unload your stuff.... now, you just walk up to the ledger and drop everything off at once.Added Overdrive - a long requested Skill Spell. Cast on mechanical-based processing stations to empower them and boost their processing speed for a while. It's superheat, for things that aren't super hot.Moved Magical Mending to level 56. We've tapped down the base version of this spell's effectiveness at restoring durability to encourage using repair benches where possible, but to still make Magical Mending work in a pinch. Added Superheat Upgrade - increasing the duration of Superheat. Added Overdrive Upgrade - increasing the duration of Overdrive.Added Magical Mending Upgrade - increased radius and durability restoration. This puts the spell slightly above where it currently sits, but feels more earned.RunecraftingAdded the Home Teleport spell - Teleport safely back to your claimed bed and enjoy a peaceful, undisturbed night's sleep. 15x Law Runes (900s Cooldown). Yes, at last.Gameplay ChangesWe've made significant changes to the building system! Huge builds that would previously take minutes(!!!) to load will load much faster now. So now, finally, no more long waits when teleporting back to your base! It's a new system, so if you do encounter any issues please let the team know and we'll gladly investigate! We've improved LODs across the game world, and we're targeting yet another fix for these with the 1.0.1 update in October, too. We've made a bunch of changes to how you move and behave in combat. These changes are broad and far-reaching, but the connecting thread across it all is that it was driven by your feedback. The Primary Attack button on controller will now be R1/RB/R - special attacks are now on R2/RT/ZR.Let's talk camera: from the outset, we've had the camera connected very closely to the player. Your movements never strayed too far from your center of the screen. We've added a "deadzone" where you're able to freely roam the middle third of the screen before the camera starts to follow you. This lets you sprint across the world with a little more freedom in your movement and evade in combat without the camera going rogue. This should also help with Agility courses, if you're looking to do your laps. Parrying will now restore 50% of your max stamina allowing you to quickly turn the tide with a burst of energy if you time it correctly - increasing the risk/reward of timing it just right. The camera and parry also allow you to pull off "Visceral Attacks" - a follow-up attack that you can do when you successfully parry and enemy. The attack is optional - you can dodge, make a run for it or even throw in a Weapon Special Attack instead in that moment. Speaking of Special Attacks... Special Attacks will now consume a portion of the player's Special Attack Bar.This allows us to buff these attacks and reduce their stamina costs so that they can be more powerful now that we can limit the frequency of these attacks.Your special attack bar will slowly recharge over time meaning players will want to ensure they time their attacks well to get the most out of their limited special attack potential! You will be able to use them less often, but they will feel more powerful with each use. Things like the Titan's Wrath and the Greatsword Special will hit harder, and be more of an active ability choice.Sprint attacks have been added to the game, allowing you to open with a big strike once you've levelled up your Attack skill a little. You'll be able to open a combo with a strong hit - but that's not all...You'll be able to cancel attacks, gathering and spell-casting actions with dodging and blocking. This means you can opt out of those pesky wind-ups or spells you've committed to mid-combat. But if you don't want to cancel the spell - you can now move while casting a range of spells, including Enchant Weapon, Windstep and Surge as just a few examples. Use that new-found window of opportunity to buff yourself, catch a breath and dive back in to the fray. The Skill Spell wheel now has 4 hotkeys that let you auto-cast the first four choices in the Radial Menu. These are mapped to the triggers, allowing you to open the wheel and instantly trigger the respective spell.Remember to use the Spellbook in the menu to re-order these spells to fit your muscle memory! Rocksplosion, my beloved,We're also still investigating how we can introduce a dedicated quick-cast button for a particular spell or item in a future update. The "Feather Fall" special ability has been removed from the Leggings of Lightness, for balance and maintenance reasons. We replaced it with an ability that makes Windstep cost zero runes to cast while the Leggings are equipped. The Leggings still also grant extra carry weight capacity as before. In case you missed it in 0.12.1 - Ammunition can now be swapped on the D-Pad or Scroll Wheel. Flip between Runes or Arrow Types depending on your equipped weapon. The Abyssal Whip now requires a recipe found in the Umbral Sands to complete to unlock its Masterwork Weapon potential. In the interim, you'll be able to craft the Abysmal Whip (PL4) as an intermediary weapon which will not have the Special Attack, with a marginal tap-down in damage. Upgrading to the Masterwork Abyssal Whip elevates the weapon to PL7.Due to overwhelming demand, Ava'a Accumulator no longer makes sound when equipped. Shut the cluck up. With the launch on Consoles, some Smart TVs may attempt to hard-force Game/HDR picture settings within the TV itself. For some users, this may seem to be extra bloom-y or brighter than expected. We'd encourage users to check their TV's Picture Settings and lower the following three settings to suit your preferences: ContrastColourand, if applicable - Contrast Enhancer. We rolled out a range of fixes for navigation through menu systems and crafting stations, both for Controller and Keyboard and Mouse.Tooltips can now be scrolled through. The Quest Menu sidebar can be collapsed to view the Map fully.Active Lodestones are now visible on the map, not just the lodestone menu.Map icons now grow in size when hovered over.Map icons now have a small tooltip when hovered.Moderation was added too! You can now report problematic worlds, rude players, griefers and hackers. Reports are fully moderated by real human beings - no AI involved - and can lead to temporary world and player bans. We've tweaked the damage of the Dire Wolves and Garou of Ghornfell to be marginally less terrifying, while you're trying to establish a foothold in the second area.Dig your heels in and fight them! Bug FixesWith launch we'll be sharing a Known Issues live page that we'll be updating throughout the week with Vital Information of issues we're tracking! But, just as a cool statistic - in the process of securing our 1.0 build, going gold and launching onto consoles, the team found, logged and fixed 2,665 bugs. Two thousand, six hundred and sixty five. Yep! So many of these you'll never see, wooshed away - like magic! For now, here's what Community-driven fixes we're deploying today.Fix to Fuzan occasionally getting stuck at 0hp in the Fight Caves and fail to respawn.Ranged ammo drops from will once again magnetize to the player as intended. The Nightmare Crucible did not end correctly when completed if the player had summoned a Buddy. The Red Desert Cape Vestige is now correctly included in the Drop Table.Fix for users who encountered a blocker when interacting with Chests, particularly in Dowdun Reach, that didn't work when interacted with on another player's world.Fixed an issue where Tree Canopies would not disappear when the tree was felled.Adjustments to reduce the probability of trees failing to topple when felled. Building over cliff edges no longer causes the player to be met with rapidly changing weather.Single axe swings will no longer be able to both split a tree and remove the stump, to avoid accidental stump removals! Decorative Gems are now able to be placed on Foundations and Flooring.Players on mounts can now eat or drink from the hot bar as well as the inventory.Resolved an issue where dying to the Kalphite Queen in certain circumstances would cause the Gravestone to be stuck in the arena, instead of spawning outside the entrance. The Water Barrel, Rain Catcher and Compost Bin's "Hold to Delete" button has been reverted to a one-tap delet... --- *Auto-posted from the developer's official [Steam announcement](https://steamstore-a.akamaihd.net/news/externalpost/steam_community_announcements/1843481262704158).*
